Dust jacket has been tape reinforced and shows wear consistent with age; it has done its job. Book is in excellent condition with only a bump on cover at bottom. Bindings are very tight and pages are in excellent condition for their age with only the slightest foxing a few pages. Collotypes are clear and bright. Ogawa has signed book as a presentation. 
Plates are separated by Japanese Tissue. Names of flowers in collotypes are printed on the tissue rather than on the collotype.
These books are extremely rare in this size and condition. You will see similar Ogawa books with 8 to10 collotypes, however, books with 37 or 38 are only in the Getty Museum and there is a listing in Berlin Germany
